Upgraded SPARTAN Mid Power Range | Raytec LED Lighting

We are happy to announce the launch of our upgraded Mid Power range, featuring a brand-new light engine and significant improvements in performance and versatility. This upgraded range of SPARTAN Zone 1 and Zone 2, and WARRIOR Mid Power luminaires delivers more light, more options, and more value. Let’s explore these features in detail.

Higher Efficacy Across the Range

The updated Mid Power Flood and Bay range has been engineered for improved efficacy, allowing customers to achieve more lumens per watt without increasing power consumption.

Compared to the previous model, efficacy has been increased throughout the range:

- Zone 1:
  Previous efficacy: 130lm/W
  New efficacy: 149lm/W
  Overall uplift: 14% uplift

- Zone 2 and WARRIOR:
  Previous efficacy: 137lm/W
  New efficacy: 167lm/W
  Overall uplift: 21% uplift

These improvements mean lower operating costs, higher system efficiency, and improved lighting performance across all hazardous and industrial environments.

Expanded Optic Options for Tailored Lighting

To give customers greater control over beam distribution and application-specific performance, the upgraded Mid Power range now features an expanded selection of optics. This added flexibility allows lighting designs to be optimised more efficiently, often reducing the number of fittings required overall.

The optic range has been expanded from 3 options to 13, including several new circular and asymmetric beam patterns. This results in a more versatile product that can be tailored to a wide variety of applications. Please refer to the datasheet for exact beam angle options.

Emergency Versions with Improved Light Output

The updated Mid Power emergency variants, whilst retaining the same percentage output as their predecessors, benefit from the higher lumen outputs of the new range.

This guarantee of proportional uplift makes the new emergency models more capable and more aligned with on-site safety requirements.
