Updated: VARIO2 IPPOE Firmware & DiscoMan Software
We are pleased to announce the release of our latest VARIO2 IP PoE Firmware, VARIO2 Hybrid IP PoE Firmware, and a new version of the DiscoMan plug-in.
With the recent changes to Cyber Security PSTI legislation that came into effect on April 1st, 2025, Raytec would like to announce that we’ve updated our software to improve security around log-in procedures and password requirements on both the firmware and DiscoMan plug-ins. This ensures that Raytec complies with the updates to the PSTI legislation.
Going forward, all VARIO2 IP PoE products shipped by Raytec have been updated with the new firmware as standard. The new version of DiscoMan, Raytec’s discovery and management tool (version 2.1.0.0), was released back in March 2025 and incorporates all the relevant changes.
