New Product: Linear Generation II

We are delighted to introduce a host of exciting new features to our SPARTAN Linear luminaires. The new, SPARTAN Linear Generation II range provides more performance, even better levels of durability, and a range a new beam angles. In this article, we explore these new features in more detail.

SPARTAN Generation II Linear offers outstanding performance with a lumen output of up to 7,000lm on standard variants. Linear is also now more efficient than ever before, offering up to 142 lumens per watts.

SPARTAN products have always had a focus on being highly durable and suitable for the most extreme environments and Linear Generation II is no exception. The new SPARTAN Linear has been upgraded with a more durable polycarbonate lens and secured with a clamping system, which offers twice the impact rating as the existing version, making it more robust than previous SPARTAN variants.

Linear is also now available with a range of different optics to suit a wider range of applications, allowing light to be targeted better, ensuring fewer luminaires deliver more across an installation.

Reassuringly, Linear Generation II still offers the core functionality which was so important to the original luminaire. It still features the unique modular design which makes it so easy to maintain, has been specifically designed to retrofit traditional fluorescent fittings, and is available as an Intelligent Emergency variant to provide leading emergency back-up performance.
