DiscoMan: New Features and Benefits
DiscoMan is the new discovery and management tool for the easiest set up and configuration of Raytec lamps. DiscoMan replaces the existing discovery tool and is now available to download from the Raytec website. Here we highlight the new features and functionality designed to make your life easier when setting up Raytec lamps.
Multi-Lamp Set Up
DiscoMan allows large numbers of lamps to be set up and configured at the same time. Whether you are configuring one lamp or several, set up can be done quickly and easily. For sites where multiple lamps are being installed, DiscoMan helps to significantly reduce set up time when compared to the existing discovery tool, where lamps had to be set up individually, one-by-one.
All-In-One Solution
DiscoMan also allows users to configure settings, such as the lamp mode, photocell, and external input triggers, within the software. Again, this can be done across multiple lamps at the same time. Being able to complete all configurations from a single location means users are no longer required to access the web interface of each lamp, saving even more time during set up.
It is also now much easier to rename lamps or assign them to a group. Clusters of lamps can be created quickly and easily to reflect their location on-site, or to organize them as required. Meanwhile, single lamp set up is still just as straightforward, retaining the simple look and feel of the existing discovery tool

Located at the top of the dialogue box, a useful ‘action bar’ has been introduced to help you navigate between the different functions which DiscoMan allows you to carry out.
