Outstanding Lead Time

There are many reasons that Raytec can provide customers with outstanding lead times in comparison to others in the industry. Not only are all SPARTAN products 100% designed and manufactured in-house at our production facility in Northumberland, UK, but we also use local, committed suppliers and have a talented, hardworking team.

We are proud to offer a standard lead time of 2 weeks and still offer our customers outstanding flexibility with product modifications and engineering. Here we discuss the key areas supporting our industry leading lead time.

WE USE LOCAL SUPPLIERS

We understand the importance of our suppliers and go out of our way to build strong, versatile, lasting relationships with all of the suppliers that we have. Up to 90% of our supplier base are located here in the North East of England and are situated within a 20 mile radius of our HQ in Ashington, Northumberland. This allows us to carry out regular audits and ensures high quality standards are always met.

WE HAVE A HARD WORKING AND COMMITTED TEAM

At Raytec we understand our customers and we go above and beyond to make sure that we can get them what they need, when they need it. Many describe Raytec as very much a ‘family’ environment and you know that you can rely on everyone to work together to make things happen. For small to middle sized projects you can expect a lead time of 2 weeks as standard.

WE ARE FLEXIBLE

We are extremely flexible, with all manufacturing taking place under one roof – and not only the manufacture of our emergency lighting products. We also manufacture other product lines from the security division at Raytec, all in the same factory. This gives us access to other shop floor resources if and when we need them.

We also make sure we keep some of our key products in stock, to support demand and to enable us to reduce the lead times to our clients further.
