SPARTAN Core Technology

Raytec’s SPARTAN LED illuminators are specifically designed and certified for hazardous areas which demand high performance illumination. Typical applications include oil & gas, chemical plants and many more. Enclosed in a marine grade aluminium housing with toughened front window, the SPARTAN range is ATEX and IEC EX approved for all Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications.

Most importantly, the new SPARTAN range offers increased efficiency and flexibility. SPARTAN delivers a lumen output in excess of 9,000 lumens (from the largest unit), with a consumption of as little as 120W. It also employs a CoolXtrude thermal management system, ensuring a much cooler operating temperature allowing the new generation range to be rated T5 and T6 as standard.

SPARTAN illuminators require zero maintenance. In the unlikely event of any maintenance being required, SPARTAN features a unique, maintenance friendly design, with a remote power supply that allows quick and easy adjustments. All models are available in a variety of beam angles as well as being available as an emergency fitting – to ensure operation even if there is a mains failure. Infra-Red LED options are also available.
